I volunteer my time on a number of projects to help non-profits enhance their web presence.
Urban Surf 4 Kids
I recently designed and developed a new website from concept to live implementation, and continual iterations, for Urban Surf 4 Kids which increases the storytelling capability of this amazing non-profit organization and helps them reach and interact with a larger audience more easily.
One of the technological benefits is that the new website integrates the signup forms in a way that the event directors no longer need to copy and paste the email data sent by the form into an Excel spreadsheet and keep different printed lists for volunteers in different areas of service and participants as well as opt-ins for our code of conduct. This optimization saves a tremendous amout of repetitive minor tasks that used to take up valuable time when preparing for an event (print forms, email lists, etc.) as well as paperwork that can get lost in transit or over time. We have a database back up of all volunteers and participant sign up info that can be accessed at any time.
In other respects, I wrote much of the content to be much more organic and informative. This solution provides users with data that is actionable. Urban Surf wants users to find value in what they are doing and get involved whether physically through volunteering or by donating.
I've had the opportunity to design, develop, manage and maintain hundreds of websites over the course of my career so far and this short list simply show some of the more recent public facing projects I've worked on. My Past projects represent sites and applications that may not be live any longer, but still illustrate my past work from coding, styling and animation to content writing and SEO.
As a front end developer with Zeeto for 5 years I've had the opportunity to work on many projects with many different scopes from mobile to desktop to proprietary software applications.
In 2014 I had the opportunity to code out a major portion of our zeeto.io website redesign. This was a desktop focused reworking with animated elements throughout that explained our capabilities to potential cients. I coded the animations on each page of the site as well as a large portion of the site's UI adding animated elements here and there. Sometimes a little overkill right, but it was super fun nonetheless.
